Unified table cell templates

In what sense are the templates in Category:Unified table cell templates "unified"? Can someone add some documentation to this category page? The category was created by Crissov in 2014. I thought perhaps it referred to templates with shared documentation at Template:Table cell templates/doc, but that does not appear to be the case, eg. Template:Hell no. Perhaps it refers to templates created using the instructions at Template:Table cell templates/doc § Creating new templates Daask (talk) 19:26, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Yes, I had introduced centralized documentation and discussion back then and also did a lot of harmonization of the source code and colors used. Some templates may have deviated from that path in the past ten years, or never truly became part of the set. I have not been actively monitoring all of them, especially not newly created ones. — Christoph Päper 22:47, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

I think they are "unified" in the sense that they are all supposed to use the same syntax when they are inserted into a table. You don't have to create a new table cell for some and not others, for example. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:25, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

Sidebar to horizontal navbox question

Hello. I have a question. Can a sidebar be turned into a horizontal navbox? If so, is there guidance about it? I noticed the sidebar in the article Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam is causing issues because there is a table that causes a big unsightly blank space before it. The syntax is pretty similar so it's just changing one template type into another. I will note that Template:Vietnam topics already exists. I will also note that changing a sidebar into a navbox to fix a single article is not the right way to go about doing so. Primefac (talk) 20:11, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

Template:Operant conditioning

Would someone mind taking a look at {{Operant conditioning}}? It looks like someone trying to create a chart did so as a template instead of an image. I noticed this after checking on some other stuff in the article Reinforcement. The template is being used in Reinforcement#Operant conditioning and it's so wide that it pretty much takes up the entire section. This was a question asked about the template's width on its talk page, but nobody seems to have responded and nobody else seems to have commented on why an image needs to be a template. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:22, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

This is how {{chart}} works; I suppose you could bury a background image and then float wikilinks above it like people do with pinned maps, but since this is a template that makes flowcharts I'm not really seeing the need to go to that much extra effort... so I'm not really sure if there's anything "wrong" with the template itself. Template:San Francisco attractions

I was looking at this template and noticed that the bottom row (Events) isn't displayed. Does it also look like this for you guys or is it just me? Why might something like this happen? BaduFerreira (talk) 18:12, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

The list9 parameter didn't have an equals so it was behaving like a positional parameter which the template just ignored. I fixed it here. Aidan9382 _(talk) 18:14, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
