Currently, 6,501 of a total of 6,829,222 Wikipedia articles (about 1 in 1,050) are featured articles, which have been thoroughly reviewed according to the featured article criteria. In addition 39,702 articles (about 1 in 172.012) are good articles which meet the good article criteria. Combined Wikipedia has 46,203 articles (about one in 147.809) which are either good or featured.
