Last Name[edit]

Can anybody find the surname of April. I have tried looking but can't seem to find it. I wonder if anyone else could have more luck? Eagle Owl 22:32, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Eagle Owl[reply]

Series 4[edit]

I've labelled series 4 as "Series Four (aka Aussie Ladette to Lady)" linking to the article for the Aussie show, because that's what it is. The word Aussie was dropped for UK broadcast, but it is indeed the same series. So is Series 4 even correct, or do we restart from series 1 again? Also, the Aussie article contains spoilers for UK viewers, should details from that article be duplicated in this one? Digifiend (talk) 00:31, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

American ladettes[edit]

I do not like the season where there are American ladettes to become ladies. It carries too much the character of a reality show, and it is not at Eggleston Hall anymore. Moreover, I do not know what the new teacher is doing there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wacz016 (talkcontribs) 21:22, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's the show The Girls of Hedsor Hall. Possibly, it could be mentioned as a spin-off in this article. V85 (talk) 13:06, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

POV issues[edit]

Parts of this article seem to share the POV of the programme, valuing 'ladylike' behaviour over 'laddette-like' behaviour. I will try to adjust it. E.G. the gloss given for laddette is judgemental: ""i.e. loud, foul-mouthed and uncultured young women, who like to drink and smoke and who are often sexually promiscuous", and "look like real ladies." (compare Real Scotsman)

I also think too much space may have been given to the plot details of the series, and it would be good to get some more criticism of the series in. It looks like this may be a good critique, but people might not consider it a sufficently reliable or notable source. ((current version) sorsoup (talk) 23:30, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
