Interactive Illustration of Satellite Neighborhood for Galaxy 15[edit]

[1]Orbital neighborhood where Galaxy 15 will pass.Twpyle (talk) 12:02, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's just SES birds. Lyngsat has info on many more communications satellites.
Meanwhile, can Galaxy 15 really be said to be geostationary now?  :-)—Dah31 (talk) 04:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article has a banner reading

"This article contains orbital elements but does not include an epoch, or date when those elements, which typically vary over time, were correct. Please help by adding the epoch for the current data, or changing the orbital elements to ones with a known epoch."

From my reading of the article, every reference to an orbital position has a date context. Please provide any specific cases where the concern of the banner is met, or I will remove the banner shortly. Savlonn (talk) 10:44, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Galaxy 15 longitude?[edit]

Galaxy 15 longitude is said to be "133° West" in the first paragraph of this article, "93° West" in the infobox, and "72 degrees-W" in the NASA NSSDC Catalog ([[2]]). Too much values for one longitude? --Utma Falos (talk) 02:02, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Conplan 8888?[edit]

"Zombie satellites can be classified as SZ's, however they pose no danger to humans (unless they conduct an unplanned de-orbit). Typically, zombie satellites only pose a threat the SATCOM services like DirectTV (Refer to Galaxy 15 incident-May 2010)"
