It would be useful with a reference for the lifecycle of D. viviparus. Reading up on D. viviparus infection in sheep in "Saueboka" (1989, ISBN ISBN 82-529-1219-2, norwegian) it appeared that D. viviparus infected directly sheep-to-sheep via feces, while smaller lungworms infected via earthworms. (may refer to Metastrongylus). A journal reference would help clear up this :-) EverGreg 13:08, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
