Fair use rationale for Image:20thcenturythreedognightcover.jpeg[edit]

Image:20thcenturythreedognightcover.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Conflict on release date[edit]

The main [Three Dog Night Discography] indicates this was released on October 19, 1999; this article states "May 16, 2000." I have NO idea which is correct, and really no spare time right now to track it down… Amazon's product page for the recording uses the May 16th date ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T9TV/ ) --Chachap (talk) 06:32, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that as well and was going to post if it wasn't posted already. One way to tell is the actual disc itself, the date is usually printed on the disc, albeit in very small type. I'll look at my disc later, I don't have it with me. Good Catch Chachap!

1970s ?[edit]

Curious as to why we're pigeonholing 3DN as a "1970s American rock and roll band"? They were recording in the 60s and three tracks from that time are on this album. Sure, they had a 5 year break from '76 - 81, but a quick glance at 3DN's Wikipage shows that they're still active. Can we change or delete the 70s reference please?
